Great Things

There are so many great things to look forward to. The morning's and evenings are starting to get a little cooler and you can feel the Fall weather coming. I'm so excited! Fall is my favorite time of year. I know it doesn't technically start until September 22 BUT I don't go by the official date, I think Fall starts when Starbucks comes out with the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. And I'm happy to announce that they just came out with them this week. I had my first one today (decaf of course). I'm looking forward to football games, the leaves changing, pumpkin patches, apple cider, wearing my UGGS, and getting cozy inside the warm house with my loves. The greatest thing about this Fall is Crew is coming! He will be making his appearance into the world during my most favorite time of the year. Here's a little count down to all the great things-

Raichel and the Carnival

Every year my work puts on a big Company Picnic and this year Adam and I brought our niece Raichel with us. It was so much fun!! I'm so thankful Rhonda and Rudy trusted us enough to have her for the afternoon. We had the best time. Raichel tried cotton candy for the first time and she went in the bouncy house with Adam four times. We did find out that Raichel does NOT like clowns. The traffic was really bad on our way home but Raichel kept us entertained with her singing "If you like it then you should have put a ring on, Uh Oh Uh" and telling Uncle Adam that he should buy her a green boat.

"Goodnight Sweetheart"

Over the weekend my grandparents bought us our crib and Adam put it together. We LOVE it! The bedding my mom bought us and the crib look so good. I can't wait to see how the rest of the nursery falls in place. Here's a sneak peak-

Adam spent this weekend singing this song. Every time he went into the nursery he would start to sing this song. We kept catching each other just standing in the room day dreaming of the days to come. It's so amazing that in only 3 months we will be spending so much time in the nursery with Crew.

Deck

I can't believe the deck is already finished. Adam worked so hard on this deck and I am so proud of him. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. We can't wait to spend the rest of the summer entertaining on the new deck. I feel so fortunate to have such a handy husband.

3 Months Left

We are just coming up on 27 weeks. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. I'm really starting to feel pregnant now. We have lots of stuff to do to prepare for this little guy- the nursery, child preparation classes, and baby showers. We have officially decided on his name Crew Clinton Veach. We can't wait to meet him and hold him and kiss him.

Two Year Anniversary

Over the weekend Adam and I celebrated our two year anniversary. I can't believe it's already been two years. I feel so lucky and proud to be married to Adam and I'm excited to see what the next many years will hold for us.
We spent the weekend doing whatever we wanted, no house projects, not working on the nursery, just enjoying the company of each other. It was so great! We went out to dinner on Friday for Rhonda's birthday at the Woodfire Grill- delicious food! On Saturday we slept in and then went out to breakfast at IHOP (our new favorite breakfast place, since we have buy one get one free coupons). Then we headed up to see Rhonda get her tattoo- so fun! We chased Raichel around and hung out there for awhile. Our plan was to go the movies and see Inception but we decided to grab Papa Murphy's pizza and watch movies at home.
Sunday my parents had VIP passes to the US Senior Open Golf Tournament. It was a blast, we had some special passes that got us into the club house for free food and drinks. It was so nice! We spent the day eating and walking around. My feet and ankles were not happy with me by the end of the day- they were so swollen. Being almost 26 weeks pregnant made the walking around a little more difficult. By the time we got home yesterday afternoon we were exhausted! Adam helped me put my feet up and we had left over Papa Murphy's for dinner.
Over all this weekend was perfect! It was so nice to just be with Adam and enjoy his company. We have been so busy this summer with people visiting, working on the deck, and working on the nursery. It was nice to just lay low and be with my husband.

It's crazy to think that it's been already two years since we got married and went on our honeymoon.

Brodie & the Neighborhood Cats

After dinner Adam and I usually take Brodie for a walk around the neighborhood. It's been so hot here lately that we usually go around 7:15 and walk until 8:00. Due to the heat my fingers have started to swell a little, I'm not able to wear my wedding band anymore. But fortunatley my fingers are the only things swelling so far, I haven't grown cankles yet.
Anyway on our walk last night Adam and I were distracted by a house that was recently remolded and let Brodie go a little too far on the leash. Brodie ran up onto someone's porch and started chasing the two cats that were sitting on the porch. One of the cats wacked Brodie's face pretty good and then took off and Brodie took off right after it. Luckly Adam was able to hold on to Brodie's leash. Adam grabbed the rope part of the leash with his bear hands and ended up with a cut and a burn. Both Adam and Brodie were bleeding the rest of the way home. Luckily for me I managed to be unscathed. I already have a HUGE burn mark on the back of my leg from Brodie's leash from last week. All in all our walk was very eventful :-) I'm just glad that everyone is okay.
Here's a picture of Brodie's injury's:

Welcome Baby Dietzen

My friend Anna had her baby Parker last night and we went to go visit them at the hospital on our lunch break. Both Anna and Parker looked so great! It was so fun to meet him! He seemed so small and handsome with all his brown hair. I can only hope my birthing experience is as good as Anna's, and that I look as good as her afterwards. Anna is such a trooper, she was showered and up walking around. It's crazy to think that we will be in that same spot in less than 4 months! We are 3 1/2 months away. Congrats Dietzen Family!!!

I can't believe we only have 19 weeks to go until my due date. Being pregnant has gone by slow and fast at the same time. November still feels SOOO far away but I'm already half way done! We can't wait to meet this little guy.

The baby is the size of a carrot-

It's a BOY!

Adam and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting a baby boy in November. We couldn't be more thrilled!! I can't believe I have been pregnant for 4 1/2 month. I'm one week away from being half way done (20 weeks). We are both really excited to start this next adventure!

Most recent picture taken 6/15/10. The belly bump is starting to pop.

I've been out of the office for the last couple of days and when I got back all my friends decorated my cube with "It's a boy signs" and my crafty friend Stacey made these delicious cookies.
