Like a big pizza pie
My uncle was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma cancer. He's finished two rounds of treat and Adam and went and visited him last Saturday. The weather was beautiful Saturday so we walked to a pizza place just below the Space Needle. We had the most DELICIOUS pizza I have ever had. We had the best time chit chatting and eating. Then we walked back and hung out with my uncle at his apartment. It was such a great Saturday afternoon. I'm looking forward to visiting him again in 3 weeks!

Zac Brown Band
Last sunday Adam and I went to the Zac Brown Band Concert at the Comcast Arena in Everett (which is only a couple blocks from our house). It was so fun!!! We both really enjoy this band, they sound a little like country but with a Jimmy Buffet flare. The lead singer Zac was sick so his voice was a little raspy but he was still able to push through and sing through out the concert. It was the last night of their Southern Ground Tour, so the whole crew was teasing each other on stage, it was hilarious. It was so nice to have a night out, just Adam and I. Great Date Night!

Waiting for the concert to start-

Sneak Peak
Adam has been working so hard on our deck. I'm so proud of how much he's gotten done in only 3 weeks! I will post more before and after pictures once it's all done but here's a little sneak peak-

Take a seat....
On my new chair! Well it's not new but I've been dying to cover this chair in our office. The chair was free from Adam's parents (thanks Pa and Ma) and it's so comfy but the pink fabric didn't really go with my color scheme. On Saturday I went to the fabric store and searched for the right fabric to cover the chair with (lucky for me I had a coupon from my crafty friend Sarah). Here are some before and after pictures of the chair-

Laundry- Loads of Fun!!!
A couple of weeks ago Adam and I started renovating our laundry room. Because our house is so cozy (small) the laundry room has to be multifunctional as a pantry, linen closet, storage, water heater, and laundry room. We had a HUGE issue with storage and slowly but surely the laundry storage started to spill out into the kitchen, I was afraid if we kept going it that way we would be on an episode of Hoarders, okay it wasn't that bad. I love it now!!! Adam keeps teasing me because I LOVE doing laundry now. I just want to hang out in this room all day long! Here are some before and after images:

It's Beginging To Look A Lot Like........
Spring!

Although Spring isn't my favorite time of the year, usually it's filled with rain and grey days, we have had a beautiful Spring so far. We have been blessed with such amazing weather here in the Northwest. The last couple weekends I've been able to open the windows and leave the back door open. One of my favorite things to do on the weekends is open up the windows and doors and blast the music, clean, and get organized. Our entire street is filled with Cherry Trees that are in full bloom, they smell and look AMAZING! I hope there are many more beautiful "Spring Like" days ahead.

Me & My Puppy Dog
Here are some recent random pictures of Brodie and me before Adam and I went to the BDA Holiday Party. I heart him! (and Jadie cats- I don't want her to feel left out).

Calm Brodie
Any of you that know Brodie know that "Calm Brodie" is an oxymoron. We knew when we chose to get a Dalmatian that they have ALOT of energy and Brodie has lived up to this reputation. Adam always says "He's a fart in a jug" I don't know why but that always cracks me up.

But just recently Brodie has been getting a little out of shape. Since Adam has switched to days we are both gone for 11-12 hours a day Mon-Wed, so poor Brodie has been a couch potato.
We have been so blessed with beautiful spring like weather recently, I just love it! I wasn't feeling very good this weekend but I couldn't resist taking Brodie out for a walk yesterday. The weather was just too beautiful to stay inside. Brodie started out the walk very excited and onlookers were wondering who was walking who? But by the tenth block he started to slow down and by the time we reached our porch he just sat next to me and watched the world go by. I wasn't even holding on to his leash.
It was days like yesterday that remind me why we have Brodie and why I love him so much. He's a part of our family- crazy or not. ;-)

Saying Goodbye
Before my sister had to say goodbye and go back to school Adam and I took her out on the town. It was so fun! We went to Big Daddy's in Woodinville (this little small town bar that thinks it's big time) ;-). There was a live band playing that night and I think Kat and I made their night. We dance and sang along. I think we were the only three under 40 years old in the bar. Adam had to be our "bouncer" and watch out for us. I can't wait until she graduates and moves home so we can enjoy many more fun nights out. Here are some pictures from that night-
